Google has announced new features in Google Chrome and they can be enjoyed on both iOS and Android mobile devices.. Among the most important changes are redesigns of the search bar for iPads, sports results for lovers of this sector and much more. If you want to know more updates, we will tell you everything here.
5 Google Chrome updates come to Android, iPhone and iPad
Google will launch a series of updates to its Chrome browser, for the mobile versions of iOS, Android and for iPads. There are many significant changes and here we tell you what they have been and how they improve your search experience:
New shortcut buttons in local searches
When searching for addresses, reviews and contacts of local businesses, Google wants to make the experience more direct. That is why it has created a series of buttons with direct access so that users can contact these businesses quickly. The function is now ready to use on iPhone and Android, but for iPads we will have to wait until the fall.
Search suggestions come to mobile phones
It is common to search for results in Google Chrome and receive a couple of suggestions. Well, this option already exists in the desktop version and comes to Android phones, iPhone and iPad. According to Google's explanation, if we normally use the word "timetables" to find out the City Metro time, thanks to this update, users will see the City Metro timetables every time they search for timetables.
New design for iPads
Google Chrome has updated its search bar and redesigned this section for iPads. It offers a style very similar to the Google-owned Material You design language. This makes much better use of the extra screen space and improves the viewing experience. Additionally, a new entry is added by tapping the address bar with actions for the current page, including copying or sharing the URL.
Live Sports Cards
Google wants to make life easier for users who are fans of sports teams of any kind. If you are a sports fan and follow a team, from Chrome on mobile you can see their sports cards. They will be available in the Discover channel located on the "new tab" page for both iPhone, iPad and Android.
With them you can see all the updates of their matches, you will know the results, statistics, follow their games, among others. You just have to have expressed some type of interest in that team or game and Google Chrome will do the rest.
You can now enjoy these new features in the mobile version of Google Chrome, both for iOS and Android. In the case of iPad, some features will take a while to release, but it will be before the end of this year. What do you think of these updates and which one did you like the most?
