When it comes to close-up photographs in which we want to highlight even the smallest detail, the macro function it can be very useful. It is available on the Pro versions of the iPhone, which have a wide-angle lens with autofocus.

Activating this function is very simple. Just go to the settings menu, select camera and then choose "Macro control". When doing so, when we go to take a photo, we will see the icon of a yellow flower on the screen.

Just like on Instagram, the iPhone offers us a lot of filters to give our photos a different look. Before applying them, we have the possibility of obtaining a preview of the changes that will be reflected in the photo.

In the photo, we just have to click on the icon of the three interlocking circles (above, to the right of the screen) and choose between the different options.

Disable “Prioritize speed over quality”

In all Apple smartphones from iPhone 14, this option is activated by default.
