In this article we are going to focus on the problem that some iPhones present when sharing the internet. As I have mentioned above, despite the fact that most operators sell the iPhone as free devices, which allows them to be used with any operator, on occasions, set a limitation that does not allow you to create a personal access point to share internet wirelessly.

  • In order to share our internet connection with other devices, we must enter the data of our operator's internet connection, which is known as APN data.

It is recommended that the Wi-Fi password be at least eight characters long and use ASCII characters. If you use other types of characters (Japanese, Chinese, Russian and other languages) other devices will not be able to connect to Internet Sharing.

In addition, it is also advisable to insert the odd number, combine uppercase and lowercase along with a punctuation mark.

Although less common, Apple also allows users to share mobile data through the bluetooth connection, a connection that is much slower than the Wi-Fi connection, but which, and is used in very specific cases in which a device not a Wi-Fi connection.
